The guaranteed status is when you have submitted a booking request and the cruise line is not allocating specific cabin numbers for your selected category, therefore you cannot select/request a cabin number or a preferred position if you have booked in a guaranteed status.

You are guaranteed a cabin in the category you selected or a higher-priced category. The cruise line will allocate you a cabin at their discretion and this can be done at any time up until the day of departure.

We strongly recommend not securing cabins in the guaranteed status when travelling with family or a group as it is unlikely that your cabins will be allocated near each other or even on the same deck.

Please note that once your cabin has been assigned the cruise lines do not permit changes to the cabin number allocated.
