When you see the iconic “X” on the cruise ship funnel, it can only mean one thing: modern cruising luxury. Celebrity Cruises is the perfect choice when those seeking a sophisticated and refined onboard experience while travelling to worldwide destinations. These elegant surroundings are sure to bring you back to Celebrity Cruises time and time again.
Since it first took to the waves in 1990, Celebrity Cruises has proven itself as a cruise line with a focus on providing modern cruising luxury. On a Celebrity Cruise ship, exquisite dining and fine wine are part of everyday cruise life. Ships are contemporary and welcoming, made even more so by the exceptional service that the line has become known for.
Celebrity Cruises was founded by The Chandris Group, owners of the more budget Fantasy Cruises. The first Celebrity ship may have been a refurbished Fantasy liner, but this didn’t detract from the attentive professional service and food served onboard. And Celebrity quickly earned a reputation for its new class of cruise experience and build the cruise ships to match.
Over time, Celebrity added signature onboard features, such as the more spacious standard staterooms, a butler service, artistic dining experiences, and world-class art collections. The ships boast a guest-to-crew ratio of nearly 2:1, which provides the distinguished service guests have come to expect from Celebrity Cruises.
Celebrity Cruises offers itineraries visiting all continents and nearly 100 ports. Destinations include Alaska, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, New England, Hawaii, Europe, the Caribbean, Bermuda, Panama Canal, Galapagos Islands, and South America. It also sails transatlantic routes and offers Cruisetour experiences in Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, Europe, Canada and South America.
