Western Australia’s cruise hub has grown in popularity in recent years, and for good reason. Not only are there are more ships visiting during the summer months, but also more cruises beginning and ending in Fremantle, aiming to explore the jewels of the west and further north. Here are five tempting options to consider for the summer of 2017.


Margaret River on Sun Princess

Short on time? This three-night hop is an ideal getaway to Western Australia’s famous Margaret River region. You’ll be cruising on Sun Princess, a mid-sized vessel, and one of several ships which Princess bases in Australia year-round. The only port of call is Busselton, a quaint seaside town and jumping-off point for exploring the wine country, where you’ll spend a long day, and on the way home to Fremantle there’s also a relaxing sea day to enjoy the ship.

Brisbane on Sun Princess
