holiday season is almost here and if you fancy getting away from it all and
letting someone else do all the cooking, why not consider a cruise? There are
plenty of high-seas options to consider, combining a holiday with traditional
Christmas festivities such as decorations, visits from Santa, turkey dinners,
gingerbread houses, carolling, special activities for kids and more. Here are
five departing from Sydney in December.
Zealand and the South Pacific on Explorer
of the Seas
her maiden Down Under season and besides being the biggest ship based in
Australia, this 11-night cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas combines the best of New Zealand's North Island. On a round trip from Sydney, she departs on the 6th January, followed by ports of call including Tauranga and Auckland. In the following days, you’ll visit Napier, Wellington, followed by Picton and a
two-day crossing home to Sydney.
