Sydney Harbour’s P&O Five Cruise-Ship Spectacular

P&O Cruises’ Five-Ship Spectacular is set to make a grand entrance in Sydney Harbour on November 25 this year. P&O Cruises Senior Vice President Sture Myrmell reveals Sydney has never hosted five cruise ships on the harbour on the same day.

“Sydney has one of the most beautiful harbours in the world to cruise into, so to have our five P&O Cruise ships sailing through the heads on November 25 is going to be extraordinary,” he says. “Throughout the day, the entire P&O fleet will be moored in the Harbour – something that has never been done before.”

The Hottest New Cruise Ships for Australia’s Summer Season

A record number of cruise ships are sailing to Australia over the coming months, including a flotilla of newcomers that have been dispatched to our shores.

The latest statistics released by peak cruise industry body Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) in May 2015 show that 38 ships from its member cruise lines will sail the oceans into Australian waters this summer, with an unprecedented eight ships making their maiden visit Down Under.

Fifth Quantum-class Ship on Its Way for Royal Caribbean
